Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night or whenever you are reading this and welcome to the first of (hopefully) many daily blogs on "Daily Stuff"! I hope your projects are moving forward as always! Let's get started.
In the world of Football...
The Champions League final will be this Sunday between two English teams, as in 2019 with Liverpool/Tottenham, in this case it is Chelsea (with Kanté and Werner as stars) and Manchester City in their 1st final in their history (with De Bruyne as the main star). The match will take place at Lisbon's Do Dragao stadium in Portugal with a crowd, so it will be something to remember for years to come.
The match itself (personal opinion) is difficult to predict because of the equal quality of the two teams. The Citizens' team has a solid set-up with strengths across the board such as in goal (Ederson), good defensive performance (Laporte, Walker and Zinchenko), help in midfield with tremendous talents (Pedri, De Bruyne and Foden) and an efficient forward line when required (Mahrez, Gabriel Jesus and "Kun" Aguero). While the Blues, under Tuchel, who reached last season's final with PSG, have some relevant names in goal like Kepa, the defense (Zouma, Alonso and Rudiger), the midfield (Ziyech, Chilwell and Havertz) and up front (Mount, Werner and Pulisic). In short, we must enjoy this match that will be relevant for years to come.
Also this Wednesday the Europa League final between Villareal (eliminated Arsenal) and Manchester United (eliminated Roma) will take place at the Arena Gdansk in Gdansk, Poland. By one result the two European finals were not 100% English, leaving a competitive match with good chemistry between the players...and hopefully a lot of goals.
In the world of Fashion...
Italian luxury brand Trussardi has two new creative directors in the form of Serhat Isik and Benjamin A. Huseby, founders and designers of the Berlin-based brand GmbH.
Alaïa will present the 1st collection with Pieter Mulier at the helm on July 4th, just before the start of the Haute Couture collections in Paris.
Emmanuelle Alt (career editor) is leaving Vogue Paris after almost 8 years, creating a rift in Conde Nast (internationally known fashion editorial) due to the fact that Anna Wintour (director of Vogue US) has more power as the main boss in the last time.
